Never the Same!

I'm heading off to Antigua, Guatemala this summer for two weeks with Never the Same Missions! Follow along with me as I strive to be the hands and feet of God and minister to His children in Guatemala! It'll be a life-changing experience!

"I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward - to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back!" ~ Philippians 3:12-14

I got to meet Nely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!
so i know I say this a lot but I really don't have much time today! I got sick yesterday (but please don't worry because a lot of people had the same thing) and I'm feeling mostly better today.
We only had half a day of ministry today at a cancer hospital, which was cool because we got to perform the drama for only adults today instead of kids, so I think they understood better. And a couple teammates and myself got to pray for a man who had throat cancer who could barely speak. It broke my heart!
When we got back, I got to meet the little girl that I sponsor, Nely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see by the title of this post, I was pretty excited! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO incredible, I can't even describe! I will tell you guys all about it when I get home!\

Only 4 more days! Tomorrow is a work day, Friday is our last day of drama ministry, and then Saturday is a free/shopping day.

Miss everyone, and can't wait to see you all!
Love,
Meg

  2. Hi Meg! Awesome! You don't know me personally, just "of" me, it's me, Jill, from your mom's work. I am so excited for you! I'm sorry you were sick, but glad you are better. Your post brought tears to my eyes! How exciting! I so wish I could see your drama. I bet it was really good! And to have the awesome privilege to pray for someone in need, and then for them to know you really care,....I am so glad you are willing to let God use you to minister to those in need, and those who don't yet know Him. I am so excited that you got to meet Nely!!! :) How wonderful! That's just like God to bless like that! Keep on serving our Wonderful Savior, and know you are continually in my prayers! :D In Christ's Love, Jill
